| Coren, known to most as Corey, was born late
in 1984. He is the second of two children from Dr. Chris and Darlene Morris.
Dr. Chris was still young and struggled trying to allocate his time between
family, work, and school. Growing up, Coren dealt with chronic allergies
and had to be mindful of everything he ate. As Dr. Chris’ son, he
was constantly bombarded with different natural remedies, but still nothing
truly alleviated the condition. Being raised by Dr. Chris, Coren was engulfed
in a healthy lifestyle. As a child, it was easy to become frustrated with
these ideals, when Coren frequently saw others eating fast food and prepackaged
meals. At a young age, he never considered working in the field of natural
medicine. Coren enjoyed playing sports and often dreamed of playing professional
baseball. In school, Coren was an exemplary student. All through his childhood,
Dr. Chris pushed him to do his best in everything he did, so he adopted
this philosophy at a young age. In high school, Coren graduated with honors.
He was the recipient of the STAR Student award, which goes to the student
with the highest SAT score in the school. Coren also played on the varsity
baseball team. He received his Eagle Scout award in January, 2003. By this
time, Coren’s interest in nutrition was minimal. Having reached an
age where more independence is given, his health began to decline. Late
in his senior year of high school, Coren became extremely ill. Soon after,
he was hospitalized for myocarditis – severe inflammation in the heart.
The doctors were clueless as to a cause and much less treatment. After being
released, Coren took a much more active approach in his health. After graduating
high school, Coren attended the University of Georgia. Having completed
his core classes, Coren decided to take a break and save some money. In
studying his own ailments, he learned a great deal about nutrition. With
a questioning mind, Coren constantly studied politics and nutrition, and
their interrelatedness. In early 2004, Coren trained to use BioMeridian
technology. In late 2005, he helped Dr. Chris and his wife open “Dr.
Chris’ natural Pharmacy” where he acted as manager. Coren is
