In my own research, I have found that 50% of Americans experience hemorrhoidal activity by the age of 50 and 50-85% are effected by such.  I realize this is an embarrassing topic for many people to speak with their doctors about and as donned by many people, becomes a "silent suffering."  I've also read, in my research, that applying Apple Cider Vinegar directly to the hemorrhoid may reduce both swelling and bleeding, after some burning sensations.  Also, drinking the vinegar has seemed to prove helpful to some.

So, from here, I pose a few questions. Have you heard of Apple Cider Vinegar relieving these problems either topically or orally?  What else would you recommend before resorting to the painful surgery?  I've heard that if left untreated long enough, it could develop into colon cancer, what do you think are the chances and perhaps time period of this development?

Thank you, Corey, so much for everything you do!  We appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge everyday in my family!

Hmmm. Direct use of Apple Cider Vinegar topically on the hemmorhoid seems like it'd be pretty painful, not to mention difficult. It may help some, but I think there are other things I might try first before resorting to vinegar. Hemmorhoids are usually caused by a weakening of the connective tissue within the anal canal thus causing inflammation, swelling, and in extreme cases, bleeding. This is exacerbated by constipation and heavy straining.

With that said, I'd start by making sure the bowles are moving properly. Do not try to strain to have a bowel movement. If needed, try a stool softener. Also make sure you're getting plenty of fiber and water. Secondly, it is important to strengthen the connective tissue that is weakened. Organic Zack makes an excellent support product called Hem-eez, which is a bioflavonoid formula which is part of the Vitamin C complex. If you are using Vitamin C, make sure it is the entire complex and not simply ascorbic acid. I'd also consider using a product called Formula H by Health Concers. Finally, we do have some suppositories by a company called Heel which are quite soothing. As always if you need any more information, don't hesitate to give us a call at 877-7AWAKEN.
